About Toprural: Our team
The thing that best defines us is our motivation to do things better and better each day, as well as how much we look forward to Friday’s “Tortilla Time”. This young team has 10 different nationalities, so you can imagine the mixture of accents and languages that flies around our office every day, in a very friendly and interesting atmosphere. Here, on this webpage, we would like to introduce ourselves and try to explain, in our own personal way, what we do in our daily work. This is simply what we are.

Management

...which Frans did not forget nor abandon until it became a reality, until it turned into what Toprural is today. From the very beginning, he surrounded himself by very skilled professionals who helped to build up this dream.

Administration
“I love it when things turn out well” (An adaptation of the famous sentence by Hannibal, the head of the A-Team).
The Administration team makes sure everything is sorted out in the end: the figures, your holiday, the payroll and even that the coffee machines are well stocked up. Anything that is not written in their accounts book, does not exist.

Commercial
“He who labors diligently need never despair; for all things are accomplished by diligence and labor.” (Menander from Athens. Greek Dramatist).
And there is no lack of diligence. They have a heart of gold, in both senses. Their hard work consists of giving owners of rural accommodations the most suitable promotions. They understand every different kind of personal budget and know how to patch up holes.

Communication

Because to speak one has to listen before, and therefore the communication team is always on alert to what is happening around them: they gather interesting facts from what they see, read or know about rural tourism and present these in the blog, in the social networks and in the media.

The friendliest and most professional service in the rural tourism world. They answer any queries, solve any problems and make sure there is a coherence and structure in the sea of content that makes up the world of Toprural. And they do it in a record time in many different languages!

...Or that the average man in the street would not understand and would only see a screen full of undecipherable characters. They know each code and algorithm on which our website is based, like a musician knows his/her page of music. They have to ensure that everything is always in a perfect condition and operational. They have their own rhythm of work, they are quite extraordinary and are good at what they do. What more could you ask for?

Marketing and Web Analytics
“ Follow the yellow Brick Road...” (Glinda in the Wizard of Oz).
These are the people who place their yellow bricks on the road so that travellers can reach us easily; the search in Google and then finding us among the first results is possible because the Marketing team is busy working on this. Also, they give their support with data analysis for the strategies that the other teams have to follow. Their work is so complete that this team is absolutely essential. -
User experience
“Just because nobody is complaining, it does not mean that all the parachutes are perfect” (Benny Hill).
The members of this team work day after day to make Toprural even more useful. Their work is complicated but is, at the same time, somewhat magical: they try to enter into the minds of users and think like them, so that they can find everything they need in our website. If you find that surfing the Toprural website is comfortable and easy then this is because the Usability Department has done their work well. If not, then it is because they are about to find a solution.
Music calms the beasts
Here, music and work tend to go hand in hand. You can listen to what we usually listen to in the office in our Spotify lists. The lists are collaborative, so you can add your favourite songs and show us your musical taste. We are always willing to listen to new tracks:
