Accommodation was spacious and in good order and the gardens are well-kept. On clear days the views of the sea and Mt Teide from the veranda were lovely. The downsides were that the house was dusty and damp, and there were mosquitoes so you couldn't leave your window open at night which made the bedroom too hot and stuffy to get a decent night's sleep in (no air con). There was no jacuzzi as promised. Lighting outside the house at night was poor and the house is VERY isolated, you have to drive EVERYWHERE - there is no local cafe you can walk to and the local shop was either shut or for local people only as far as we could tell. The village, Genoves, has little going for it. The local people's dogs barked a lot which spoiled the potential tranquility of the place.The worst thing about the holiday was the driving. Access to the house is via a VERY steep road on a corner and the driving in the area is very difficult with switch-back roads and a 50 mins drive on these to get to the sunny south side. Exhausting. The positives were that if you stay here you sample the "real" Tenerife and there are some nice places to visit in the area (Garachico and Masca). The accommodation is traditional and is nice from that point of view if that's what you want but could do to be updated e.g. new TV (with one English-speaking news channel perhaps!). I wouldn't recommend this for families or if you are travelling with older relatives because the house is on a steep hill and you can't walk anywhere.

Well, I try to replay so many things in my poor english:

This a a rural place, and in Tenerife sometimes comes the wind with a lot of dust from Africa, this is not usual, but....sometimes.....Damp, I dont thing so, but maby a little in the montain is normal.
Mosquitoes, dont are many, but they could ask me for spry.
The Yacuzzi is in the garden, and clients can see it, this I cannot understand, why they say that. If they dont have see it, why dont ask me? It is so easy!! I leave very near and they see me usualy.
The house is in the mountain, but very easy to reach any where of the Island, as all the rural houses. Maby they must looking for a village to rent a house. There is a Bar Restaurant at 100m and a "rural" mini-market at 100m as well.
To reach the parking of Casa Ida it is true is a steep road, bud only 30m. There is also the prossibility prak the car down the street.
Casa Ida is the Norht of the Island and is not always sunny, is true in the South is very sunny but also very very hot an overcrowding of turism. The clients we have loves walking and peace, we have also nice coast and bach and sunny af corse, but no so much.
The Tv. have many channels because we have satellite Tv. Is possible they dont find how to manage, so sorry.
Is clear, they need, next time look anothet kind of vacancies.
