Rifugio degli Dei
Positano, Salerno (Campania, Italy)
Rifugio degli Dei rose from what was an ancient rural house built in the middle of the 8 century by our great-grandfathers, who, with knowledge and passion, were dedicated to the cultivation and care of the vast olive groves, gardens and animals that surrounded this special place. Ideal for an holiday in Positano, it was perfectly reconstructed in 2007 and particular attention was paid to preserving the architectural character typical of the Amalfi Coast and of Positano, such as the vaulted ceilings and “gaveta”, chestnut-wood architraves and slaked plaster walls. The farm house with its olive grove is located in Positano in the quarter known as Arienzo in the heart of the Amalfi Coast and few minutes from the famous trekking site “Sentiero degli dei”, with around 240 stairs from the main road and illuminated path surrounded by the green Mediterranean undergrowth to reach it.Read more
