Glimpse of Pardise

This is The Place! Perfectly peaceful, stunning location in the rolling hills, horses grasing in olive groves, rosemary and thyme hedges, romantic picture-book. Add to that lovely host Lucio offering you possibly the world's best home made olive oil and sleeping in a 15th century convent building, and it's hard to imagine we'll ever stay anywhere else in Tuscany.

We stayed for a week in Novole and had a great time. Novole is a great place to relax and enjoy the real Toscany way of live! The surroundings are pure nature including typical olive and wine gardens, fresh air, nice views and some nice cats and dogs… For instance reading a book or drinking a glass of wine will be pure relaxation! This place is great to get some rest and drive to lakes, visit Cortona or other villages in Toscany and Umbria. Thanks to the owner Lucio!

Novole: Beautiful place

Beautiful, relaxing, comfortable place, with vegetables from the garden, home-made wine, fun cats and dogs, cool accomodation during a hot week. A lot to visit in the neighbourhood, but such a nice place to stay at home. Also very suitable for kids.

Like a Romantic Fairytale.

I had the pleasure of staying at Novole for 6 weeks in the autumn of 2006 during the olive harvest. Imagine the setting sun over the golden hills of Tuscany covered with olive trees, weighed down with the fruit, the music of the Italian language as friends and family converse, sing and laugh while sitting skillfully in the trees as they pick. Then to retire into the beautiful convent to share some wine and beautifully fresh food from the garden at Novole. You will be delighted by your host, Lucio's sense of humour and warm welcome to the best part of Tuscany. I look forward to my next visit to Novole, I will always go back.
