La Pobla de Lillet is on the southern slope of the Pyrenees:

- some 130 km. from Barcelona (approx. 90 minutes via the Eje del Llobregat, C-16, E-9)
- about 18 km. from the Cadí Tunnel  (approx. 20 mins), via which you can also drive to La Cerdanya, Andorra or France
- some 30 km. from Berga, the county capital (approx. 25 mins)
- Ripoll (approx. 30 mins), along a road with a stretch of curves (La Pobla-Gombrèn) that eventually brings you to the Costa Brava (between 2 and 3 hours by car)

The road from Castellar de n´Hug to La Molina and Masella, via El Pla d´Anyella, offers an alternative route to the ski slopes, Puigcerdà and France.
