The owner´s comments

Close to the village of Pontons, the highest municipality in the ALT PENEDÉS region, we find Masía Sapera.

At 700 m above sea level, surrounded by vineyards, woods and rock faces, we encounter this 17th century Catalan farmhouse  that will enable you to enjoy the peace and quiet of an isolated setting, and not have to go without the most relaxing activities: cultural visits, hiking... The old farmer’s house  has been restored preserving the traditional features, such as the oven, arches,... to enjoy the large and comfortable interiors.

The entrance to the ground floor from the interior patio presents us with a cosy sitting room with a log fireplace . Another access, from the garden, leads into a typical fully equipped kitchen-dining room, which has a firewood oven and a tank-wine cellar.

On the first floor are the bathrooms and the three bedrooms  (two twin and one en-suite double), all overlooking the vineyards and woods . Also, from the hallway we can go up to a loft, sleeping two people.

On the road that joins Torrelles with Pontons, we come to a side tarmac lane, with a signpost for "Camí al Pla de Manlleu". We go uphill along this lane for 1.5 km and then on a flat for approximately 1 km, until we get to Masía Sapera.
