Situated not far from the historic cities of Guimarães, Braga and Oporto, Casal da Batoca is an ancient farmhouse dating back to the XVII century. It is the oldest in this region and it has been totally restored, so that modern comfort and tradition of former times can be fully enjoyed.

Two independent buildings integrate the ancient agricultural setting: the main house and the old barn. Both look onto a closed courtyard, where the gardens, the lawns, the threshing-floor, the swimming-pool and the tennis-court are to be found.

The farmhouse disposes also of two totally equipped lounge-rooms that seat up to 60 people – a perfect place to organize a wedding, a christening or a conference in a warm and cosy atmosphere.

If you are travelling from FAFE:
After the toll continue onto the first roundabout. Keep going straight ahead and take the first exit at the second roundabout. Keep going straight onto the third roundabout. Keep going and after 2,5 km turn left, direction Medelo. After 1,2 km turn right, direction Medelo Igreja. The road begins to descend and narrow. Turn right and immediately afterwards turn left. 300 m away you will find Casal da Batoca.
