An English view of a Casa Rural

Casa Rural Arroal situated in Calle del Pino 42, 37657 Sotoserrano (Salamanca) consists Arroal l & Arroal ll and is two apartments on the same level in one building next to one another. We were in Arroal 1, which is the slightly larger of the two apartments and has 3 large bedrooms (2x Double, 1x twin) all en-suite (showers) one en-suite having disabled facilities. There is plenty of cupboard space and more than enough room to store cases. Both apartments would comfortably cater for a party of twelve with 6 en-suite bedrooms and a single garage underneath that could accommodate about 10 cars. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, washbasin and toilet. 

The Kitchen/dining area contains all white-goods necessary, plenty of work surface, stainless steel sink and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Everything you need for cooking, the only missing item from the English point of view was a kettle. 

The living area is also large and well equipped with a fireplace, enough seating for six, colour TV (no English channels), DVD/CD player, reading material and a reasonably good Spanish/English dictionary. And for those that need Wi-Fi that is also available with compliments of the owners.
Externally there is a small garden with a barbecue and electric lighting with a terrace and garden furniture.
The apartment was not serviced during our ten days and consequently there was no change of bed linen, which was expected in a ten-day stay. Booking by email was fairly easy and a deposit was not requested. A smattering of Spanish would be useful.

Certainly one of the best self-catering accommodation units we have ever been in. Overall, we were well looked after by Ati and Rosi, thank you, and would certainly recommend their Casa Rural.
