CA OLIVARES is a typical Valencian house from the late 19th Century, located in the old part of L’Alqueria de la Comtessa, a peaceful village situated 3 kilometres from Gandia and Oliva beaches and at the foot of the mountains, giving its name to the region. It preserves an old Valencian house quality: its wooden beams from Flanders, its high ceilings, its thick walls, the paintwork, its patio, and furniture that evoke its past.

Fit out to offer all comforts. It has three air-conditioned bedrooms for a capacity of 6 people (a master bedroom with a 140cm bed, a bedroom with two 110cm beds and another with two 90cm beds. Blankets and embroidered cotton sheets provided); two bathrooms with white bath & hand towel sets, living-room, dining-room, a spacious patio where you can enjoy the summer nights, and two fireplaces to snuggle up to on the winter days. The house has a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc), TV in the dining-room and living-room, DVD player, hi-fi/stereo and other facilities making your stay an unforgettable experience.

Go hiking through the different signposted routes that you will find in our region, bicycle touring on the old railway track Gandia-Alcoi, climbing the “Peña Roja” rock in Gandia, windsurfing at the “Mar I Vent” School in Piles, rent a boat at the yacht club (Club Náutico, Oliva) and go on horse riding excursions (Picadero Los Robles, Gandia).

Gastronomy
Ca Olivares recommends places where you can taste the authentic Valencian cuisine: fideuà (Spanish pasta with seafood), coques de dacsa (tortillas), rice dishes: arròs al forn (rice in the oven) and arròs amb fesols i naps (turnip and haricot bean rice; esgarraet (red peppers and filleted salt-cured tuna), gamba amb bleda (prawns with chard), pilotes de puxero (boiled meat balls), arrop i tallaetes (candied pumpkin dessert) …

- Road access from AP-7 Motorway:
Take the 61 Pego-Oliva Exit 
Continue on the N-332 towards Gandia-Valencia 
After 1,300 metres, make a right turn heading towards RAFELCOFER-LA FONT D’EN CARROS. 
Take the underpass, the N-332 is overhead, and you will have reached the village. 
Once you are in the village, follow the signposts to “Casa de Cultura”, Ca Olivares is in front.
