A wonderful find

We had booked into Sucuevas for just two nights, intending to move on to different areas, but the house was so special and the hospitality so welcoming that we stayed for the full week! Sucuevas is a lovely, traditional Spanish house which has been beautifully restored by Claudio and Patricia, totally in keeping with the area. It even has the traditional 'barn on stilts' (our name for these most interesting structures dotted all over Asturias!) in the garden, as well as a mill now being restored to show to visitors. Everything we experienced during our stay was so special, from the attention to every need (including muddy boots!) to Patricia's wonderful cakes! We wish them well in there enterprise and have vowed to return.
