Wonderful experience - I strongly recommend this casa rural!

I found out about Casas Rurales from a colleague who had sent me a link to Can Piferrer. As soon as I saw their web site I knew I had to go there along with my boyfriend who loves the countryside, nature and mountains. I was a little bit worried about being able to find the casa but the owners were very nice and helpful and sent us directions in advance. We stayed here in May ´13 so the weather wasn´t too warm yet but we still had a fantastic time! The house looks astonishing, especially in the sunlight. The nature around the house is breath-taking. You really feel like you can relax, let everything out of your head and enjoy the nature and simple life around you. The house is very spacious and well-equipped, we did not miss anyhting. There is a fireplace in the living room which makes for a wonderful atmosphere during the evenings. When you´re at the house and you look around you can only see fields, mountains, trees and beautiful nature. The environment is amazing. While there we took various trips. If you stay at this casa rural, you need to go to Portbou, close to the French border. You will be standing at the top of a mountain surrounded by wonderful nature and looking over the coast of France and Spain. Also, there is El Port de la Selva and Cap de Creus. All views are indescribable. If you´re looking for an experience of nature, views, sea, relax in a bit of a secluded place, this is the perfect place to go! By the way I live in BCN and very much enjoy traveling around Catalunya.
