Water Area  Two indoor heated swimming pools of 200m2 and 56m2, with water jet showers, and modern changing facilities, beauty suites and physiotherapy services.

SPORTS CENTER: The sports centre offers over 12.000m2 of facilities, with tennis and paddleball courts, and a multi purpose sports area.  Also two outdoor swimming pools: one shaped as a beach, measuring 600m2, with a water flume; and a smaller pool, with games and facilities, especially for the children.  Also, in the sports centre, there are table tennis facilities, and boules offered.  In the sports centre, our highly skilled and well-trained instructors offer more than 80 weekly sessions of aerobic exercises, yoga, and cardio-vascular workouts.  The fitness rooms are outfitted with the latest cardiovascular systems.

BERGA RESORT is a tourist centre, with a dedicated sports complex, in the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenees (700 m).  The location is blessed with very good weather, all through the year.  Also, with this location, there are about 20 well-known and highly recommended ski resorts in close travelling distance to Berga Resort. The center has 5.000 m2 of indoor installations and is opened all year round.

LODGING: Berga resort offers a selection of lodgings, including wooden bungalows, mobile homes, and chalets. All fully equipped to provide maximum comfort, and enjoyment, for any length of stay with family or friends.

Bungalows. (12m2 + attic space & porch) Each bungalow is equipped with a double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and dining room; also porch, garden area and also parking for a car.  The accommodation in the bungalow is for a maximum of 2 adults.

Mobile Homes.  (24m2)  Each mobile home has two bedrooms, each with two single beds, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, porch, garden and car parking area. Capacity 4 persons.

Chalets. (36m2 + attic space) Each chalet has three bedrooms, one providing two single beds, another with bunk beds, and the third being an attic room with two single beds.  Also, each chalet has a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, garden and car parking. Each chalet has air-conditioning, heating, T.V. microwave, kitchen utilities, sheets, towels, etc.

For those who prefer culture, the area has a great many historical treasures and there are museums to help you get to know about the development of Alt Berguedà, from its beginnings right up to our times: Sant Quirze de Pedret or the Mine Museum in Cercs are just two examples of the culture and heritage to be found here. 

If what you're looking for is action, the Patum is the county festival, though there are also plenty of other interesting events: the Fia Faia, the Festa del Segar (Harvest Festival) and many others. 

The cuisine in Alt Berguedà includes typical mountain fare, complemented by the greatly appreciated mushrooms, nature permitting.

Interesting places

• Santuari de Queralt  (  7 km)
  Poised on a narrow balance between nature and architecture, the Sanctuary of Mare de Déu de Queralt dominates the town of Berga and the surrounding area. Known as the balcony of Catalonia, this site is an amalgam of history, religion and breathtaking landscapes, affording astounding views over the mountainous extension to the north and the plain through which the river Llobregat cHourses to the south.
• Mining Museum  (  20 km)
  This museum is dedicated to the coal mining industry in Berguedà. It is located in the mining colony of Sant Corneli, which, following the model of the industrial colonies already established in Catalonia, was founded at the end of the nineteenth century to accommodate the people employed in the coal mines. Today it is one of the best-conserved mining settlements in Spain. The museum is located in the mining colony of Sant Corneli.
• Parc Natural del Cadí Moixeró  (  20 km)
  Bagà, Gisclareny, Castellar de n’Hug, Gósol, Guardiola de Berguedà, Saldes and Vallcebre. The Cadí-Moixeró Nature Park is the largest of its kind in Catalonia, covering an area of 41,342 hectares. It includes mountainous zones ranging from altitudes of 900 m to 2,468 m. The area has a varied geology and flora and fauna which are typical of Mediterranean, Alpine and Eurosiberian environments.
• Massís del Pedraforca  (  20 km)
  In 1982 this area was declared a Nature Spot of National Interest for the purpose of conserving its vegetation and unique beauty, whilst at the same time guaranteeing the rehabilitation of the open-cast coal mines. This massif is one of the most emblematic nature areas of Catalonia and is noted for its wealth of biological and geological diversity.
• Pedraforca 360º PR-C 127  (  20 km)
  Pedraforca 360º is a route around the most magical mountain in Catalonia: Pedraforca. We suggest taking a trip round the perimeter of the mountain to discover every one of its corners. The route starts from Gósol, taking the Cerdanya path which will take you to Collell, the natural pass from the Cadí range to Pedraforca, and the dividing scarp between the Segre and the Llobregat rivers.

CARAVANNING: Berga Resort offers caravan plots of between 70m2 and 80m2, on either grass or shale standings, in areas that offer plenty of shade.  Each plot has access to water supplies.
Air-conditioned service buildings are offered with bathing facilities for babies, equipment and services for persons with disabilities, laundry equipment, etc.
Also, the Resort and caravan areas are covered by surveillance and security services.

EATING and DRINKING: Berga Resort offers different areas and zones for eating and drinking, including the terrace café, the pizzeria, and the ‘La Fonda’ restaurant, which offers a wide variety of delightful Mediterranean cuisine. CHILDREN’S AREA: An area of Berga Resort specially designed for children!  In the children’s area, there you will find a games room, and an outdoor park.
