Wonderful place to stay! From the moment we walked in the door Danny, our host, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are kept extremely clean and each have a small private outdoor patio leading onto a beautiful park like garden with duck ponds & BBQ area, very quiet and peaceful. There is also a very clean communal kitchen for guests to use. Danny and his wife Patricia prepare a dinner for their guests every Saturday night, it was one of the best meals we had in our 6 weeks in France, extremely good value and their complementary homemade liquors were superb. Overall cleanest, best value for money rooms and nicest, most generous hosts of all the places we stayed in whilst travelling for 2 months around France. Would definitely and stay there again and recommend it without hesitation. Wendy & Tim, Nelson, New Zealand July 2011

This is a beautiful place to stay. Danny and Patricia give a wonderfully warm welcome, fabulous food and much great advice and knowledge of the surrounding places to see. I cannot wait to go back for another visit!

Try to believe!

Marechalerie is a truly charming place, a very paradise dipped in the nature and the French countryside. We have appreciated the style of the rural atmosphere and the cleansing of the rooms, the exquisite breakfasts all together of bread and marmellade made in house from the fantastic Patricia, the peace and silence of the place. Also you must try the dinner all together, it is an unforgettable experience because Patricia is a wonderful cook and Danny is very friendly and gives to all us many suggestions and maps about what to see e where to go. Thanks to the kindness of Danny and Patricia, I think there is not such a beautyful place in all Loira zone: you must try to believe!

A real find

La Maréchalerie is a real little treasure of a place in a tiny village. So quiet yet close enough to drive easily to all the attractions of the Loire Valley. The hospitality provided by Danny and Patricia is marvellous as is the advice on how to get around the area and find the attractions. If you are lucky enough to be there at the weekend, the communal dinner is recommended, but watch out for those home made liqueurs!

We can also happily recommend ce logement. We enjoyed every moment from the enthusiastic welcome from Danny, the wonderful communal meal with fellow travellers from all over the world and our day trips into the region to explore with Danny's advice. We would love to return one day.

We are a Franco-American couple. Each time that we come to France with friends and visit the Loire Valley region, we stay at "La Marechalerie" because of its pleasant atmosphere, its good meals, its tranquility and the cleanliness of the rooms. We recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast lodging.
