Quintal de Além do Ribeiro is the best you could expect for a holiday cottage in Portugal. The property and rooms are immaculate, the breakfast is great, and the owners go out of theit way to make you feel at home. They get 5 stars from us and we would recommend Quintal de Além do Ribeiro to anyone traveling to Portugal.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the quintal for two weeks. It was our first visit to portugal. It was a memorable stay. The quintal provides excellent accommodation, excellent breakfast, delicious portuguese home cooking. Friendly and excellent attention, and advice on what to see and do. The area is beautiful, so much fresh air, surrounded by mountains we reaaly enjoyed our stay at the quintal enormously we will go back again. Muito obrigado to the owners

We have had several unforgetable stays here and each time we have been received with warmth and affection - like part of the family. Quintal de Além do Ribeiro is peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and provides excellent service and food. With historical connections with Bonaparte, it provides an ideal base for exploring this central area of Portugal yet is only 45 mins from the coast therefore making it everything you need for a perfect and realxing holiday. A BIG THANKYOU to Manuel, Maria José, Filipe and all their staff for yet another excellent stay in their Quintal.....Perfick!
