The owner´s comments

The quinta is situated at the northern end of the Serra da estrela natur Park in the centre of Portugal. The house has been reconstruct into a tourist project within rooms, apartments, restaurant, bar, library and reception. Outside is a terrace and a swimmingpool. The campground is behind the house more uphill.
An environment for individuals, families and groups that are looking for rest and relaxation, privacy and comfort, or healthy outdooractivities. 
Two villafes are very near tot he quionta and there you have some services like, general grocer´s, doctor, a pharmacy, post office, butcher, café ´s, bus stop. Supermarkets are near Gouveia, 6 km.

• Land: Mountain biking,  Hiking. 
• Air: Paragliding. 

A golf resort you find 50 km. from the quinta near Viseu. There are several walking tracks available. 
In summer we organise some outdooractivities.

Accommodation located in the tourist area of Serra da Estrela

The N17 is the road between Celorico da beira and Coimbra. From this road by kilometerpost 114 you turn into the direction of Melo/Nabainhos. You follow the signs of Quinta das Cegonhas and after 3 km. you are at the quinta.
