The owner´s comments

The first thing that surprises you when you get to Can Sort is its wide open scenery. One can see as far as the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees in the background and the extensive plains of the Ampurdán to the Bahia de Rosas.

The farmhouse is situated on the slopes of a hill and is made up of several buildings. Each room is different: they are spacious, with an en-suite bathroom, wooden beams and all superbly decorated. They are divided up into different areas, some of them with a terrace or a direct access to the garden, and others are gabled, offering magnificent views. Homemade meals are served in the two small dining rooms and in an outside terrace on summer evenings.

To reach us:

- Take the A-7 motorway towards France, and exit 5 at "L´Escala"
- Follow the N-2 road towards Figueres. At Básacara, turn right towards Sant Mori
- At km. 2.800, after the village of Calabuig, take the country lane on the right, signposted to "Can Sort" (1 km.)
- Train: The Camallera train station,  4 km. away
- Bus: the bus stop is 3 km.away
