- After the last construction work, the Casa de Santa Ana da Beira now has 6 ample rooms for tourists. Equipped with ample beds, double or single, all rooms have a private bathroom, dress room and multichannel TV, providing the tourist with a comfortable and warm environment.
- The rooms have private entrance and direct access to the garden, which allows for beautiful strolls along the grass early in the morning, a warm up for a good and tasty breakfast that can be served in the dining rooms or in the exterior, as requested.
- Attached to the garden is the old agricultural patio with the bread oven and the press and also the old pig corrals, now turned into bathrooms for the swimming pool area.
- In the old hen house – today, Pátio das Galinhas – an esplanade with tables and sunshades, where the tourists will find the tranquility to read the book they prefer, to have a five o’clock tea or, with previous booking, a complete meal with friends.
- In the Pavillion next to the stone balcony there is a room with television, video, music and Playstation games for the younger ones.
- In the exterior you can find the kids’ playground, the swimming pool and for sportsmen, a tennis court.

Maria Laura and Joaquim Beirão Homem Ferreira, owners of the Casa de Santa Ana da Beira, thank you for your interest in this site and await your visit.

The origins of the House are lost in time. The existing documents concerning the house date from 1798 and confirmed that the house has always belonged to the family Homem de Ferreira. In successive generations, the house was extended and renewed, always preserving the architecture and the characteristic materials of the Beira Alta. In the year 2000, after an authorized process from the Tourism General Direction, they started the rebuilding and remodeling process, adjusting it to fit the requirements for Tourism in the Rural Space. The house, now remodeled, is equipped with six ample rooms dedicated to Tourism in Rural Space. The yard, which had been used for planting agricultural products, was transformed into a gorgeous garden and orchard with a swimming pool and tennis court.

Accommodation located in the tourist area of Serra da Estrela

To get to Paranhos da Beira follow the A1 – Lisbon/Porto until the Coimbra Norte exit / IP3. When you get to Rojão Grande, leave IP3 at the Mangualde – Guarda exit / IC12 and head towards Nelas. In the roundabout of Fonte Luminosa (João XXIII Square) in the center of Nelas, take EN231 in the direction of Seia / Serra da Estrela. 12 km after entering Paranhos da Beira, turn left in the Luciano Homem Ferreira Street, where you will find the house.

Coming from IP5, head towards Mangualde or Celorico da Beira and then Nelas or Seia, depending on your exit.
